Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Common questions about stump grinding, quotes, access, cleanup, and scheduling.

How do I get a quote?

The fastest way is to text or email a few photos of the stump along with your address or town. Most jobs can be quoted from photos.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends mainly on stump size, number of stumps, access to the area, roots, rocks, slopes, and how close the stump is to structures or fencing.

Do you remove the stump completely?

The stump is ground below grade using professional stump grinding equipment. Large underground root systems are typically not fully removed unless specifically discussed.

Do you haul away the wood chips?

Grinding produces wood chips and mulch. Chips are usually left on site unless removal is requested ahead of time.

Can you fit through fence gates?

In many cases, yes. Please include gate widths and access photos when requesting a quote.

Do I need to be home during the work?

Not always. Many jobs can be completed while the homeowner is away as long as access and payment arrangements are clear beforehand.

Can you grind roots too?

Small surface roots near the stump can often be addressed. Extensive root systems are evaluated case by case.

What should I do before the appointment?

Please clear rocks, decorations, hoses, vehicles, or other obstacles near the stump area if possible.

Are you insured?

Yes. Insurance documentation can be provided when needed.

What areas do you service?

West Chester and surrounding Chester County areas.
